Jada, Smith’s Wife, came up with the idea; I guess her stint in the music biz has given her a lot of insight in what it means to be Straight Edge. The show is untitled and will revolve around Courage Crew an SxE crew from Ohio. Last night i went to the Magic Stick with Jenn

to see Lucero, Chuck Ragan, and a few others.

And it hit me as i was there with a bunch of really

good people. Shows like this will never exists in

Brooklyn. Its a Midwest (Michigan) thing... shows

like that. The flannel shirts and beers raised high

the music taking over your body. Screaming out

as loud as you can, knowing every lyric to every

song. Having that show be extended cause of

everyone involved in Team Young. The way i was

raised here in Michigan, in the Midwest the way

people act around here. Its going to be a huge change.

I don't know how to explain this, this feeling I

wish I could. But i cant... Im going to miss the

Midwest... and the way people do shit around here.

Man found dead on Brunot Island is identified

A 19-year-old man whose body was found on Brunot Island yesterday morning apparently died after being hit by a car, according to police. The death was accidental.

Matthew Scott Delanko, of McKees Rocks, suffered blunt force trauma to the trunk and lower extremities, the Allegheny County medical examiner's office said.

At first, police investigators mistakenly suspected that Mr. Delanko also had gunshot wounds, Cmdr. Thomas Stangrecki said.

Mr. Delanko's body was discovered in the morning on 130-acre Brunot Island, which is primarily owned by Houston-based Reliant Energy. The company operates a power station on the island.
